Final Fantasy IX Project

The Final Fantasy IX campaign is a campaign based on the Playstation game Final Fantasy IX. Our goal is to make the campaign as much like the real game as is possible.

The battle system will be the one used in Hero RPG, as I believe that this is the closest to the Final Fantasy IX system as possible. As our aim is to make the campaign as much like the real game as possible, we intend to include small details and minigames such as the card game, Tetra Master, and the Chocobo treasure-hunting game, Chocobo Hot & Cold.

Current members of the project are:

Tiranasta (myself)

Shadowz123

We require a terrainer for this campaign. The requirements are the following:

-You must be a skilled terrainer.

-You must own the game Final Fantasy IX.

-You must have good attention to detail.

-You must be ready to try to make terrain as much like the real game as possible.

We require a modeller for this campaign. The requirements are the following:

-You must be a skilled modeller.

-You must own the game Final Fantasy IX.

-You must have good attention to detail.

-You must be ready to try to make the models as much like the ones in the real game as possible.

We require a skinner for this campaign. The requirements are the following:

-You must be a skilled skinner.

-You must own the game Final Fantasy IX.

-You must have good attention to detail.

-You must be ready to try to make the skins as much like the ones in the real game as possible.

If you meet the requirements for any of these jobs and would like to join the project, please either respond here or send me a private message.|||Seriously, you guys have no originality or what? If I wanted to play FFIX, I would just buy it. Making exact replica on Warcraft III will just be stupid and time-consuming. I however would be interested in the campaign if it has a different name and a different story.|||In my opinion, originality is not what makes a map/campaign good. I can understand that many do and I respect that, but personally I'm not that fussed with originality.

~Tiranasta~|||You must be a very boring person. I doubt anyone would want to help for that.|||You can play that game with PC too you know. That why you get better started if you continue story etc.|||Here's another.. thing, i won't be playing.|||Don't post if you have nothing usefull to say, the person is trying to gather people for his/her project, not oppinions why he/she shouldn't make this project.|||I do believe what you say Warnicro, unfortunately, I still think it is a very bad idea. I wish that this project was made but with a different story and name.|||If we used a different story I would feel we were being disloyal to the original game. Not to mention the fact that neither Shadowz nor I can write stories on par with Square.

EDIT: By the way, you're away you're bumping this thread, right?

~Tiranasta~|||No one is interested?

~Tiranasta~|||Guys, its like saying why make World of Warcraft maps, yet people make those and noone says "aww what about originality, i could go buy WoW blah blah blah" well, try buying a Playstation 1 game which is really rare to get, plus one of the best FF Games. were merely making it for fun and giving it to people who have never owned a Playsttion, or any console to expercince the game without paying any money.|||Quote:

Take a look at those great final fantasy rpgs made in rpg maker 2003 or xp. They have final fantasy in the name but they don't number it. For example, Final Fantasy: Lambient of Life.
