Addiction Maps is an idea based on an old Map Making Team I was in.
We created the most awesome skins, terrains and ideas. Never did anything get complete before everyone�s passion ran out. I wanna change this.
MAPPERS NEEDED
For the project mappers are needed for my different "Departments"
Ideas Those that comes up with ideas for the map itself, for Heroes and their abilities, I want NOTHING to be the original skills or heroes for anything, so I need creative brains.:

Triggers I need professional people to make the triggers, I don�t wanna have to keep fixing bugs. Be able to make mostly any Hero-abilities, triggers, and Ideas come true.:
Skins ...are basicly whats outside the model and can be edited using Photoshop, Paint Shop etc. I need someone artistic and good.:
Models Make new models using 3D Studio Max. This is hard. Anyone good at it ?:
REASON FOR HAVING AN ENTIRE TEAM IS BASICLY TO MAKE EVERYTHING GO SWIFT AND HAVE THE MAPS DONE IN NO TIME.
EVERYONE WILL BE RECEIVING CREDIT. WEBSITE WILL BE CREATED AS THE TEAM IS READY FOR IT.

Okay, First off, I am glad to see you reading this, second off heres the story:
When Warcraft III came out I was addicted to mapping. I gathered with about 15 other mappers, skinners, programmers etc at another Forum, I just WISH I remember what it was named, and we started out a project.
The project was to create an idea of a map everyone would enjoy, and then another one, and another one. Doing this professionally with a story behind everything.
We had AMAZING skins, amazing triggers, it was all great. Till Warcraft III kinda died to me. I have my passion back, and wanna start creating something great! And for that, I need skinners, mappers, and so on to help me out .
Anyone wanna help out creating the BEST Warcraft III maps every played on battle.net Custom Games? Please let me know. And I am serious about this. :)|||It all sounds pretty cool :)

A skin is the graphical layer that goes over the model shape of the unit. A "skinner" is a person who makes this graphical layer.|||Quote:

The adding the flesh to the frame of a unit...
if we didn't have skinners in the industry, we would be looking at hundreds of little wire frame units.|||yeah, basicly.
You can easily skin a already made model, and then import it to the editor.
A modeller uses a 3d-program, to make a new model, this can also be skinned
by anyone:)

I have a few good ideas yeah.
But it needs amazing terrain, and good skins|||I can help with a few things:
1) Triggering (Sorry, don't know JASS but I'm very good with the triggers already in WE)
2) Custom Unit/Item/Ability Creation
3) Artwork/Storyline

this idea sounds really good, im personally a terrainer and leading also a mapmaking clan im trying to implement some things you where talking about above alraedy in my work with the clan also.
i would love to help if the work and the team member of this *dream* are that good as you wrote above :)
